Will contribute mine toward my grandson's education which I hope will assist both him and his parents
    in a small way.

    Stocks are a perpetual see-saw.

I've got mine in Banks except for $50k in a CD which I'll be reinvesting in Silver when it matures this summer.

    Silver is moving steadily.

For the last 6 years or longer, CDs are the functional equivalent of "under the mattress."

How do you buy your silver, if I may ask? Do you take physical possession? I've got a bunch of "junk" coins, figuring they may serve a dual purpose.

Shoiley, I'll be having our front facia boards replaced and painted soon.
They're showing a bit of weathering since the house was built in 1988

John, I've never bought a Troy Ounce of Silver in my life!

I'll either get them in Coin or Bullion.

We aren't getting the latest stimulus. Last year we started collecting SS and didn't adjust our IRA distributions. Oops. (We should have waited to file 2020 taxes but that's life.)

If you buy any precious metal, physical possession of it is the only way you can be sure you actually have it.

Well, after seeing the new fuel prices at the store a few minutes ago, I think I’ll have to wait on those repairs or at least, the more costly ones.
Gas went up to $2.69 from around $2.00 in just a month and a half. As others have noticed (on another thread) groceries are going way up particularly in dairy, beef, and eggs.
Restaurants are going to take a hit [as if being closed down didn’t do major damage] because their supplies will go up and just having food delivered will cost more because of the freight / fuel charges.
I use a lot of hardware and lumber and all that has gone up too.

The way I figure it, the reason the stimulus checks are going out at this time is to temporarily help pay for all the price hikes.

I probably won't get a stimulus check at all, because the Government doesn't know my
B of A Checking Account number.

When I got my federal tax refund last year, it came in the mail.

We charged tires - cheap ones for the car, but will pay this off when check comes in. Then a tooth of mine will be pulled.
Pay off a charge card- um am sure it will be put to good use.
@Bobby Cole... yes everything has gone up and still rising I fear. Wouldn't you know gas was so cheap, cause we could not travel far anyway because
of the Virus , now that is some better but gas will be so high, your still forced to go far because gas is too high.
