Always thought I'd like to go to London but never got around to it.

 

I don't live in the city Al... I live about 20 miles North in a semi rural area...the lakes are local to me . we're surrounded by lakes, rivers, & countryside, yet only 20 miles away from the metropolis....

 

Well if I'd ever gotten to London, I'd have done the quickie tour for things that would interest me and then got outta town. I was born in Boston, Mass and could get out fast enough.

 

LOL..that would be the way to do it, although tbh there's a lot to see for tourists in London, it could take you a while... however I would always recommend anyone coming to London, stay outside the city and commute in, it would be a much nicer experience.. I hope you manage to get here one day...

 

Unfortunately I think the only way for that to happen now is via the internet.

 

That's a shame, however it's fantastic these days how you can armchair travel through google maps and street views.. so it's almost like you're there..

 

I love the walkways. I can see myself strolling along, lol. Thanks for sharing your day with friends.
