Congratulations to Peyton Manning and the Broncos. Also Gary Kubiak and Wade Phillips, some familiar faces around Houston ... they all deserved it. Good for them. Sorry that Cam Newton went out in such poor style, after all the hype. I bought in to it too, but he ran into a buzz saw! And he didn't go out graciously at the end. That was a bad look on his part! As for the musical entertainment .. I thought Lady Gaga was very good, but the half-time show was too jumbled. It just didn't do much for me. I'm a Bruno Mars fan, but didn't like the show that was put on... looked too rushed and disorganized. And IMO ...commercials are getting worse. Too many don't make any sense ...

Bonnie, yes, the Panthers never looked so bad. They never looked like that all season. After the first touchdown in the beginning they never could get in control of the ball. Cam must be totally humiliated as well as the rest of the team. I feel sorry for them.
Even though I probably have more connections to the Broncos, I was hoping the Panthers would win...maybe next year. Actually I would like to see the Bears win a Super Bowl before I die, lol. Love da Bears!
After the game, I'm still wondering about the field they played on ... someone sure dropped the ball on the field preparation .... all the slipping and sliding going on!!. Many of the players had to change their shoes for longer cleats.. I noticed that when Newton came over to congratulate Manning, he still was wearing his helmet. I wondered why.
