I read some years ago that Women's Rights advocates were the ones who got laws passed making abortion illegal in many states. The thinking at the time was that men were getting women pregnant, then forcing them to abort the babies. With the current state of birth control, it seems that abortions shouldn't be needed except for rare abuse cases.

The thinking at the time was that men were are getting women pregnant, then forcing them to abort the babies. I wonder how often this is really the case, versus women consciously and intentionally using abortion as their default method of birth control.

Another thing that just occurred to me is the interactions with doctors at these clinics. When a woman goes in for an abortion, are there no discussions regarding what they have used/will be using for birth control? Don't these place exist to address this need?

The other thing I wonder is how all of this change will affect behaviour.

I believe the way things operated in the late 19th century as regards the relationship between men and women has changed. From the article I read, it implied that the women's rights people believed this to be happening, but whether it really was and how often, no one would know now.

I think any discussions about birth control or alternatives to abortion are discouraged in abortion clinics.

Good. It is true everywhere, that truth cannot be found in the world, and few ever seek truth.
Years ago there were some clinics that women thought were the murder places, and they went in and got situated to listen, and were shown evidence of what happens , and what could be done instead, with help for them and the baby provided instead of death.

Usually everything just gets worse, daily, year after year.
It will be a welcome unexpected surprise if things improve at all in anything including behaviour.

Understatement I think. The money , the funding, is one direction.

If a woman kills her child its a fetus, but if another woman or man causes her to lose it then it is murder of unborn child.
