I looked at videos of this on YouTube. Both for FOX and CNN. The replies were predictably polarized but I was still surprised at how much. Many of the FOX video replies were religious in nature. The CNN responses were more half and half.

One person posted, siding with the baker, that what if a white supremacist group wanted a cake made. Some SJW responded something "you can't compare white supremacists against gays who don't harm anyone" While I might partially agree with that statement, the SJW type completely failed to see the side of the baker. It was all about one side getting what they want but the other side's view did not matter. When both sides have validity. But not to the SJW.

For the most part, the agenda organizations and those who live by them are going to be one-sided in their thinking.

Fortunately, not everyone is as irrational. In comments on a Facebook post from a gay activist, not everyone was one-sided.

One guy said that, as a gay man, he was all for gay rights but not when it meant trampling on the rights of others. He went on to point out that forcing someone to violate their conscience in such a way does nothing for gay rights, but it does encourage people to hate and fear gay people, and to oppose them.

    A lot of people agreed.

@Ken Anderson I noted some posts from people who stated they were gay and also essentially sided with the baker.

All in all I think the ruling was right. Had it gone the other way, the slope would be steep and slippery I'm afraid.

My wife & I debated this decision a bit today, after I asked her if she was aware of it. Had she said no, the matter would have been dead; she generally avoids any such news, or discussion of it. This time, she was well-versed, and adamanty! I figured it was a good time to stir the soup.

What if you were that baker, and LOST the case; what would you do? She said close the business. I suggested how about making the cake under protest, splashing that fact publicly in some way.....she considered that as a possibility. Watcha' think?

Further thoughts I've had: does this scenerio of P.C. mass-display maybe precede a "testing" of "No Shoes, No Shirt, No Service"?

How about if he decorated the top with a picture of the couple in coitus and presented it to them on TV?

Well, traditionally, wedding cakes do have a bride and groom on top.

I think I would have created the ugliest and worst-tasting wedding cake possible, short of committing a crime.

I fully back the Supreme Court's decision!

The Baker was right in refusing to bake a wedding cake for a same-sex couple.

A man marrying another man is sick.

This is worse than a woman-woman marriage, because it isn't Manly!

I personally don't care either way. I like men but if I was a lesbian I would want the right to be married, I wouldn't make a fuss about who made my cake though but that's just the way I am.

But @Hal Pollner ..I don' get why you say women- women is okay but man-man isn't....or are you just joking?

It's because don't see the sin in a lesbian act or relationship, but when men do it...they're queers!

Okay but I still don't get it.

So, it's not a sin for two women to marry just a sin if 2 men marry?
