For years and years, all the casinos posted warnings at entrances as Halloween approached, no one will be allowed entry wearing any kind of face-covering or mask. Today, entry is DISALLOWED without a face mask, applying to EVERYONE. Suddenly, concern for masked criminals is forgotten. While before, one having criminal intent was likely reluctant to enter a public place masked, unless criminal activity was planned. Insane, isn't it? "Call 911!! She's not wearing a mask!!!" Women scream. Children cry. Men wet their pants but pretend they just spilled something.
I'm confused. It's Halloween. Define "mask." Are they looking under masks to make sure you are masked? I guess everyone should dress as a surgeon, huh? And it's Vegas, dammit. They should know the odds of having it, carrying it, spreading it, getting it, having a serious reaction, etc.
Four or five years ago, on a cold windy January day, I went into the local bank for something. Small town, everybody knows everybody, only 3-4 tellers at the bank. I know the manager on a first-name basis. I had my storm collar up to keep the wind and snow out, and it covered my mouth and maybe part way up my nose. I barely got through the door and the manager, Amy, came running out of her office and confronted me about my face being covered. I undid the storm collar and she saw who I was, but reminded me that it was against the law, or rules or whatever, for anyone to enter with their face covered although I think she did feel a little foolish. And now? I have no idea where we are. I haven't been in the bank since March 2020. Luckily I can do everything online. Apparently the virus only haunts medical facilities now, as they are the only places that still require the (ineffective) face diapers. I had my teeth cleaned today, and still had to mask up going in. The medical community is like the jilted husband -- he's always the last one to find out about his wandering wife. The med people are 6-12 months behind the massive data available to anyone about the virus. It is truly a bizarro world we are living in.
In some places, you cannot go in without being shot. (with something more dangerous and deadly than a bullet)
1980 or 1981 widely available now surgeon hospital study for five months, and every other honest study before then and most or all of them since then, showed extremely clearly that wearing masks is the cause of twice as many infections or more than not wearing masks (yes, even in icu and or and er). ie, ibid, ipso facto - to lower the risks of infections even in hospitals, do not wear a mask. Also, diarrhea is more common than health problems with any virus. Should everyone therefore be forced at gunpoint to wear a depends or adult diaper ? NEWS FLASH! EDIT ADDED JUST NOW SEEN: Delivery drivers have more poop and pee daily than total number of people harmed by not wearing masks !! (see link/ thread/ topic about delivery of poop with package and links re delivery drivers in post there ten minutes ago) THUS again showing that disposable depends or adult diapers SHOULD BE REQUIRED in all adults everywhere BEFORE anyone should even think of wearing a face diaper. (re already proven masks cause more than twice as many infections as unmasked, INCLUDING in surgery, icu, and or and er in hospitals)

Have you seen the stupidityty of huhumanans (sick), pointing guns, cannons, missiles, rocket launchers at each other close by and miles away trying to kill each other !? Very common in movies and media glorifying mankind's sinful violence that has murdered millions of men, women and children in the last ten years alone, and many many more millions in the last century! (come to see it was mostly for money, drugs, control and power over land and small and large populations).
Some Good News: Missouri judge ruled that local health officials can no longer issue COVID-19 safety orders. He said the orders infringe upon the constitutional separation of powers between branches of government, reported the St. Louis Post-Dispatch. The ruling from Cole County Circuit Court Judge Daniel Green means local health regulations throughout Missouri are struck down and rendered obsolete, reported the Post-Dispatch.
Our yet-to-be-sworn-in/save-us-from-McAuliffe/governor-elect recently made an announcement in the opposite direction. He intends to give locales maximum latitude to do as they see necessary. Now, he has yet to take office, and this may be a tactic to let those who wish to be over-controlled do exactly that, so I'm taking a Wait & See approach rather than immediately jumping off the deep end. There are other concerns and other rights at stake in Virginia the many areas would love to squelch...but I promised to not go off the deep end yet.
Yeh, his Communications Director (Joshua Marin-Mora) is of the LGBTQ community, uses non-binary pronouns, and served on the Georgetown University Latinx Leadership Forum. But those don't disqualify him from the position. I'd worry if such an appointee had policy influence. We'll see. I'm not big on purity tests. But Youngkin did win largely on getting off-election year turnout in the rural regions that might look at this appointment differently than I. I'm unaware of any other such staffing transgressions, although there may be some. Besides, there was an old South Park episode where the elementary school was voting on their new mascot. The choices were a guy dressed up as a talking douche and a guy dressed up as a turd sandwich. One of the kids was not gonna vote in such a sham proceeding because he [obviously] wanted neither. But his father taught him a valuable life lesson: "Son, all elections are a choice between a talking douche and a turd sandwich." Youngkin's creds were "not McAuliffe/not Democrat." Time will tell if we got the talking douche or the turd sandwich. My personal choice was Amanda Chase, whose creds were too pure for the party (and probably most voters.) She always open-carried on the floor of the state legislature. She refused to endorse the party's Chosen One in a local sheriff's office race because the guy was too squishy on certain rights, so she has long been marginalized, and got primaried out. Besides, she wasn't gonna get traction in the liberal parts of the state where all the votes are.
