I was at my local Verizon store from 10AM-1PM today trying to get an issue with my new Smartwatch fixed. One of the folks I was chatting with as we waited had just had lunch at the Asian place next door and told me it had changed hands since it first opened (the food was horrid when I was last there.)

I had hot & sour soup and chicken pad Thai. It was OK. Nothing fantastic, but "Central Virginia sufficient."

I was in the Italian deli/ butcher looking for fresh hamburgers for tonight. While there I picked up lunch for the seven of us me and my wife my daughter and her husband and our three Young grandkids.
    For lunch we had:
    Lasagna
    Meatballs
    Sausage and peppers with onions
    Italian bread
Wasn't homemade but it was good

Got a recipe for tuna patties in my email. Just like salmon patties but made of tuna. I made 1/4# burgers rather than small patties.

I put mayo and hot sauce on the bun, then topped it with some 11 grain sprouts I just finished today and some alfalfa blend sprouts. They're pretty good. Some internet recipe comments said it could use a little more spice...they're right, but the hot sauce helped.

It's a decent change of pace.
