Going out for lunch for my birthday today , been invited to friends for a roast lamb lunch / chocolate sponge roll for desert .

We were discussing a week or so ago if I wanted to go out for lunch and I said no ,I’d rather eat something I’ve cooked myself to be honest …I’m very wary of eating out now days with food prices and the ..quality is not there for the cost of eating out

To have a meal at a pub now it’s a minimum of $40.00 each for something I’d call decent food…. nah ..I can but almost a weeks food in Aldi for $80.00 outlay for one meal …do I sound fussy:p:p ….well hubby always says I’m particular what I eat :)

We had roast beef with melted cheddar sandwiches. From Dollar General store here microwaved they were very good. Under $4 for 2 of them.

Tiger Bloomer with Tuna Salad in a sandwich plus tomato soup. Decided it's time to get a new tin opener. Had trouble opening our cans of tuna today. Guess they're getting long in the tooth but very dull at the same time.

    We went out for emergencies.

Got new tin opener (to replace the broken one)
Got new flour sifter (to replace the rusted one)
Got cutest set of dessert/cake forks (new fangled item to match the new spoons from last year)
New set of silicone pot holders
Eliquid supply for next two months
Wet Cat Food for CoffeeBean, two months worth on special at local store, bargains!

    FOOD NOW!
Home now, enjoying a freshly brewed cup of French Roast and scarfing delicious Breakfast Sandwiches.

    1-2 eggs over-done
    2 slices of toasted bread
    2 slices of bacon rashers
    1 slice of Singles Cheese
    Mayo, Dijon mustard and butter.

Enjoy! That's our morning to afternoon done...

I will send you some bugs in a couple of months. Too cold for them just now. I wonder how we can 'put them up'.

So generous, but don't go to any trouble. No shortage of bugs or even squirrels around here.
