I love me some fish & chips. Makes me miss Arthur Treacher's. You just can't do that stuff at home...requires a deep fryer. I had a ham, cheese and egg sandwich (real fresh country eggs from a chicken I've picked up and held.)
I'm not a health nut, but I try to eat healthy, so for lunch I'll eat half a sandwich so I can leave room for fresh and dried fruit such as apples, oranges, nuts, raisins and prunes. I'll throw chips in twice a week and tea every day.
I've been making lamb for dinner every once in a while. It's a nice change of pace. That looks good, Lon.
Looks good, @Lon Tanner . I had Ritz Crackers with peanut butter on them dipped in a can of potted meat. It was delicious.
Damn, son. Your meals all look so good. I had: -Pork BBQ sandwich -Reheated hush puppies -Slaw Gonna be another light dinner because of it.
Another good pic, Lon. Hold the bacon, poppy seeds, blue cheese, and I'll dig right in! I do prefer sweet onions to red onions, though.
One thing for sure, Lon, you really, really love the meals they serve you there! Numerous threads showing each.
Cody, Living in a situation such as Lon does, meals and arrival of mail are probably the main mileposts of the day. Living in a facility, no matter how swanky, comes with rules and restrictions, especially in these times of Corona. Social interactions are way down and the simple becomes the highlights.
