I never went to the PC ones as I felt more comfortable if I mixed up a routine with the more casual ones, they were more fun for the group I went with. The ones we went to in 1970s were always packed and the callers and bands were excellent.
Yes I was taught ballroom dancing at secondary school oddly enough, but I struggled with the coordination and bruised many a girls foot
Terry, What was the funniest prank you ever played on someone, or what was the funniest one you fell for?
I can't recall that I ever played pranks, not inventive enough, but one of my uncle's played an un PC one on me by lacing a soft drink I had with spirits, when I was about 13, he got told off about it I recall. He couldn't understand why it didn't affect me, as it was a heck of a lot of whisky evidently.
No Shirley, though I have never really tried, I don't feel I have the talent to write anything worth reading in an entertaining or captivating way.
Not seriously until my late 40s Shirley, but had the odd glass of wine after I married. I am not sure why maybe the whisky put me off
When I was on my first plane trip and looked out the window at the clouds below, I had a feeling of almost euphoria. Have you ever felt that?
I know I am ashamed I seem so goody goody don't I My first drugs were at age 62. My one sin was married women for which I will be be damned I am sure
Yes I can't recall my first plane trip but I love being above the clouds, they look as though you could lie on them.
