Claxton Bakery, Claxton, GA Opened in 1910 under the ownership of Savino Tos, an Italian pastry-maker, who immigrated to the US in 1908. I don't generally like fruitcake but Claxton fruitcake is pretty good. Wish they would leave the orange peels out of it.
