Morning Jess. Good effort. Your two misses: Terry Scott, Harry Secombe. Harry Secombe would have been a natural as a Carry On regular, definitely the ideal Henry V111 as no need for padding. Peter Rodgers probably asked him but he turned it down over the poor salary and working conditions. He was in one Carry On if memory serves, Cruising. Wasn't he the character that kept trying to win a seat at the captain's table or is that another film?
Hi Craig (•‿•) I think it was Doctor In Trouble, Leslie Philips played the doctor who accidentally stowed away on the ship, and Harry Seacombe played a pools winner, he was fantastic and naturally funny! I'd love a copy of this film, I haven't seen it for a while.
