    Yes, I realize that part of it Marie. Sometimes there comes a time when people have to realize that there’s no way around it and assisted living is for them or you for that matter.

    What I was actually alluding to is if say, some Motel or Hotel were to be advertised as being the place to stay but upon checking on one I find that in the middle of the tourist season a motel had 80 vacant rooms out of a100 I wouldn’t think of staying there. There’s a reason why people do not stay there.

    There’s only a 2 if 3 reasons I can think of why a person would move (not die) from assisted living if they indeed needed assistance. 1. Lack of financial resources. 2. They moved to a better place or 3. There’s something wrong with the place whether it be the staff or whatever.

    18 rooms suddenly vacant on one floor? And in another thread Lon said that there was a transition in staff? Sumpin’ wrong.

    Same here. I can't imagine. And just the thought of getting this place (and all my crap) ready for sale makes me shudder.
