@Babs Hunt , have you thought of a Yorkshire Terrier. They are the only dog that has hair instead of fur, and they're hypoallergenic. They don't shed their hair unless you brush it, much like people. They are small loving little beings. I've always had dogs, but the bond between my nine pound Izzy and me is amazing to me. He can even let me know if a seizure is coming. This is Izzy Royal, and as you can see he loves his toys. We play fetch off and on all day long. Ir's good exercise for both of us. He will be five in June. And at night he cuddles up to to my back where my lungs are. I think that lets him know when I'm having a bad dream, because he will kiss my face until I wake up. When I'm better he cuddles right back up to my back, and off to sleep he goes.
@Ina I. Wonder - honestly Izzy brought a tear to me eye Ina Pets are such good company and no arguing
This is Oreo, he's our other "adopted" dog that comes and spends time with us on an almost daily basis.
