Early mornings are bad for me, feel panicy, impending doom. usually gets better day goes on. So much to do plus exercise when I don't feel like exercising. I want to take a trip. Its too hot to breakdown so hubby is working on the van, while he rebuilds engine in that little pickup I don't like, its like riding in a go cart with people in dump trucks and simi's flying by or pushing. Not happy here but don't know any place I want to go. Its lonely and I miss the family.I'm sure most of us women feel this way.
Ok off pity pot, time to get to work.

Peak is getting things done and not listening to the news. Like I can do something about any of it. The power that be, don't give a damn about what I think. Music helps and so does moving around. Time to vacuum and mop the floors.Always feels good to have that done.

Sort of funny, but my 1/2 brother loves doing mechanical/hard labor stuff on vehicles. He is fully retired, 77, and his idea of a great time is hard labor on a vehicle or something like that. He hates computers and basically dislikes his cell phone also. We have very little-to-nothing in common, so we talk on the phone very little.

When it comes to the word "family", we miss my wife's family at times, but definitely not a whole lot. Most of my wife's family lives in So California and we haven't been back there since we left in 2002. The nieces/nephews don't want to visit us and visa-versa. IOW, a fairly dysfunctional family on her side. However, her older sister has come to Colorado to see us and that was a great time.

So, now it's time for me to do a curbside pickup order online to Walmart. I spend a lot of time on our desktop during the week. As far as vacuuming/mopping, I leave that up to our iRotos Hazel and Mabel. They both do a great job and definitely saves on my back.

Well, John, sure didn't know you had these health issues. And, on top of that, your truck.

We just had a complete ($500) rear brake job done on our Durango (2005-175,000 miles). Since our brakes don't work so well on our boat trailer, we have to depend on the brakes of the Durango to stop the boat/trailer when taking it somewhere.

Anyway, Good Luck with your truck. I no longer work on big issues with our Durango. Have to always take it into a mechanic.

I mentioned the SUV to the manager yesterday and she told me there's nothing that her or the owners can do about it. She told me that there are actually 9 things that her and owners can't discriminate against toward any resident.

So, will simply have to let it go and that's exactly what this young lady and her boyfriend wants to happen.

Boy how things swing so fast. I felt normal early this morning and about 30 minutes ago I got really dizzy sitting here at the computer. I haven't had dizziness like that for about 13 years and I think this was just my eyes strained and me turning my head too fast. I got up and showered and plan on taking it easy for a while today and stay off the computer to let my eyes rest. I had never taken any kind of prescription until that first episode of dizziness and I know what caused it but still being 60 they naturally wanted to get me on blood pressure meds. I have taken them all this time until 3 months ago when I couldn't see going two times a year for someone to shake my hand and mumble for 10 minutes then bill my ssi. I stopped going because they thought they would strong arm me and not fill my blood pressure med, which wasn't prescribed by them anyway. It was my VA primary care that did that and two other drugs 13 years ago. I canceled the last appt in Dec because they had a recording stating that due to that last outbreak of covid they would not allow people to come into the lobby and would come out to get you while you waited in your car. So I don't drive to the clinic I take the senior van for several different reasons. The van does not wait for someone to come out and escort you for an appt. A couple months later I find a bill in my PO box stating I owed them 49 dollars for missing an appt. Nothing will get me fired up worse than someone trying to rob me. Also they were trying to force me to pay for an online signup that allows email contact., that was an additional 10 dollars. I called their billing people and told them I did not owe them anything because I had cancelled that appt due to their wait outside order plus I never finished their online form for email contact that had no warning or note that you would be billed 10 dollars to do something most businesses would do for nothing. The point still, my not electronically signing that form after I saw they wanted my credit card number. Pretty sneaky and low for a cardio clinic. First off they lied to me about having a 75 percent blockage and after a procedure they changed their mind and said it was like 45 percent but we didn't do anything and will watch it. After that this doctor started getting a bit snotty when ask a question so I knew at that time he is not the person I want as a heart doctor. I did not say anything to him but did go back once more for the appt and that was due to my surgery needing a clearance. This time he insisted I have another stress test and imaging done again, 3rd time in 3 years. I did that and was cleared without any information why I needed another set of test. Keep in mind I have never had a heart problem before, that blood pressure issue was self made and I still had good readings while on the medicine. My eyes are getting so bad now I can just turn my head too fast and get a little dizziness. Got DDD in my neck and it don't help with turning your head. I still feel tired and will go nap again today real soon. I guess I will make an appointment with the VA and get back on my meds soon as I can. Life is really hard now with these politicians messing around with peoples health and personal freedoms. I can't just jump up and drive to a doctor every day not having a dependable vehicle any longer. It is really poor health care here in this state and mostly about making money for doing nothing for a patient.

Pit was I got up this morning thanks to a bed that is like sleeping on a valley of rocks. I've been hoping to buy a new bed soon but after spending so much last year on my old truck and robbed of 1200 in the process, not to mention me having to spend about another 400 to fix it myself. It took me a long long time due to my age and health. Now before I get to the Peak just wanted to say my little cat snuggie got another really good dose of electricity again. Boy talk about crying and having total convulsions, again I helped him recover and he is fine. I stopped what I was doing and attached another coffee container over that wall receptacle below the window where the 3 of them like to roost and play. It is definitely the source and he must be sticking his back foot on the receptacle to get a boost up al-tho it is only about a foot to jump but he is a little fat runt. I looked at the positions he has been in by the time I turn around from my desk to see what happened to him and I am certain that is where he got shocked two times and once. Now the best part of my day is I got a new motherboard for my good machine that the CPU pins were bent and also bad USB ports frying what ever I stick into one. I decided to spring for the newer chip set board and alto not the best board it will be fine to get it back on line soon. I will step up to a faster processor also when I get to that point next month. I think I can reuse my good 3200 memory sticks on this board so I won't have to buy new RAM. I will only be able to run 2 channel since this newer board only has 4 RAM slots. It doesn't have a lot extras that I wouldn't use anyway so for 94 dollars I think I got a really sweet deal from newegg. My TV antenna that was supposed to arrive on the 2nd was sent to a different city south of Baton Rouge and it is probably lost or stolen, Walmart has already offered to give my money back but I would rather wait one more day and see if they get their heads out of their back side and send it to me since it is paid for and there is not another in stock. Walmart said they were going to investigate as to why it was not dropped at the Baton Rouge regional dispersal location, they had to go through there to say on the tracking it arrived at the regional location so it makes one to believe someone else needed it worst than the real owner,. me ! It is always a toss up today with these delivery services and the post office should be forced back into government instead of private owned. We never had these issues with the PO until they became union and private owned, they know all they have to do is cry we're bankrupt and they get bailed out by us again. A big rabbit hole is what the Postal Dis service is.

I got these for protection from outlets when my kids were young. Believe it or not, I caught my oldest attempting to insert a two inch nail into an outlet. And she was the 'gifted and talented' one.

You can probably pick them up at any hardware store, walmart, or even the grocery store in the baby stuff aisle. Shipping costs more than the item.

They also make a cover plate with hinged doors or receptacle covers that are spring loaded. These plastic coffee containers are pretty tough and will do until I can go to the hardware store and get something safer. Cats just don't learn anything, they come equipped with bare survival tools and that's it. He got a good dose today and he was really screaming. It totally knocks out his equilibrium and he can't stand until I get him up and massage his legs and chest and he recuperates very fast but I don't know how well he would be able to if he wasn't close to me where I can help him. They all 3 just had their bed time snack some diced bologna .

Consider you may have positional vertigo that is caused by crystals in the ears. Search for the Epley maneuver on YouTube and some therapists there have things you can do at home to dislodge those crystals. If you have a friend that can assist, it is easy. Not pleasant mind you, but easy and won't cost you $500. If you have BPPV it will work, if not no harm done.

    No pit to report yet.

Peak: My oldest daughter had her first mammogram and no issues found! Music to my ears.

Thank you for the advice, I do have vertigo do to having tiny bone fragment in my right ear., I get it every two or three years but only when the weather changes to cooler and I have sinus issues at the same time. Never have had it happen while I am upright and not lying down, always when I have rolled over on my right side then I'm in a free spin without any up or down. I just roll over to the left side and it goes away. I was told that they have three ways to possibly cure it but since I haven't had any serious issues I have not looked into it. I can get it done for nothing since it I will be going back to the VA care. It most certainly is service connected and is the culprit that caused loss of hearing in that ear. 15 years ago it was considered 10 percent disability but I got nothing. I don't care much for the BS you go through to get what you are entitled to. I would like to take those people who set the disability rates for a long ride sitting 2 feet from a 3000 round per minute mini gun, for 3 years. Then see how much they would be entitled to for hearing loss and ear drum damage. The white light at night was enough to ruin your eye sight. They didn't so much as give you a cheap pair of ear plugs. Today weapons are designed to not do more damage to you than an enemy would, not so 56 years ago. My last airplane ride was in 1989 and I made it my last ride after we landed at Phoenix Arizona mid July when the runways are pretty rippled up from the extreme heat. I was sitting right over the right side landing gear and I thought we were all going to die it was so noisy. I made it to San Diego so I could drive my U-Haul already packed back to here. The drive was much nicer but that really did end my love of aviation. :)

While I'm here I finally got my antenna that was lost by the Post Office, first thing this morning walmart said they were returning the money and I checked one last time for tracking that had stopped for 6 days and sure nuff it was sitting here at my PO. I got it and just told walmart to cancel the refund but if it was too late let me know and I will pay it. Good little indoor outdoor antenna but I need to buy a USB wall charger so I can plug it into a receptacle somewhere other than next to the TV, it comes with a USB power plug that of course goes to my TV but if you do that you lose the length you need to place the antenna outside. I tried it out for a moment and pointed it to the Lafayette and Alexandria direction and just sit it here in the window of my bedroom. It grabbed 20 channels without any problem and good channels. So I guess one can say it was a pit then a sudden peak.

Peak: Ms. C is in a meeting with a bunch of local pastors so I just texted her and said I got high watching the new apple launch and ordered a new iphone and iPad, which I did none of the 3

The pit will be in about 30 mins when she gets home

I know exactly what my SIL (wife's sister) would say to that.........."that was rude to say that to her". And, btw, Daniel, you'd have to know my SIL to understand why she'd say that. She sometimes takes humor as rude. She is very, very "straight-laced". LOL
