I couldn't agree more. Oh, there have been quite a few. All allegations, I know, but it doesn't surprise me. He has zero respect for women. List of Trump's accusers and their allegations of sexual misconduct - ABC News (go.com)
I didn’t realize YouTube had that video. Here it is in case the Twitter link didn’t work. I did get a chuckle.
I find that very common that people claim he’s guilty of something specific and should be jailed but when pressed have nothing other than essentially a pronounced distaste for the man. I don’t like him as a person but, contrary to popular opinion, electing a president is not a popularity contest, or at least it should not be. Allegations are worthless as established fact. Look at the crap they threw at Kavanaugh and it was all politically motivated lies. The hate for Trump goes far beyond that for Kavanaugh. Here is a woman in the Trump organization for a perspective on him from someone who actually knows him and works for him.
Well, Patton isn't exactly credible. First of all, she was fined and barred from federal work for a Hatch Act violation. Secondly, I have to wonder what her motivation was for doing the video she posted. Trying to remain in Trump's good graces so she can keep her job, maybe? Also her video says nothing about alleged sexual misconduct by Trump, which is what we were just discussing. I think the whole lot of them is corrupt as hell. Lynne Patton, former Trump HUD official, fined and barred from federal work over Hatch Act violation | CNN Politics
That's so typical of liberal thinking. Anyone who makes an accusation against a prominent liberal, who publishes anything contradicting any of the elements of the liberal worldview, or who says or does anything that might slow the advance of the liberal progressive agenda, is hereby deemed not to be credible.
As you pointed out, the Trump detractors talk about his tweets or his personality, but they never in my experience talk about his policies and what he accomplished during his term in office.
Ad hominem arguments, really? She made it pretty clear in the video what her motivations were. Women’s unemployment in the U.S. reached a 65 year low during his tenure. If Trump hates women so much, why would he bother with this? https://trumpwhitehouse.archives.gov/wgdp/ Here are the actual demographics of the Teump organization https://www.zippia.com/the-trump-organization-careers-41590/demographics/ Once you look for other sources other than agencies and people that hate him and paint a biased picture, he is really a pretty neutral person when it comes to people and politics. He has been associated with just about every party at one time or another. Yeah, he went conservative this time but that was really a reaction to the left just going off the rails. There would not have been such a reaction if Obama had been a middle of the road candidate. You said you believe the whole lot are corrupt as hell, do you also believe the Biden’s are corrupt as hell?
BTW, Dershowitz has no love for Trump but he follows logic with respect to the law, not his emotions. This is his take on what’s been going on. The whole article is not that long and worth reading. “"I taught law for 50 years, I have no idea how you can combine a federal statute about campaign contributions with a state misdemeanor statute about other things and come up" with something to charge Trump with, Dershowitz told host Tom Basile. "You know, it's 1 and 1 equal 11 here — not 1 and 1 equals 2. It's just wrong." The timing is also suspect, Dershowitz noted, as allegations of influence peddling against the Biden family has reached a crescendo. Also, this week, Dershowitz released his latest book "Get Trump: The Threat to Civil Liberties, Due Process, and Our Constitutional Rule of Law." "It shows not a single one of them is justified," Dershowitz said of his book laying out myriad attempts to find crimes to charge Trump with. "If it wasn't Donald Trump, no prosecutor would dream of bringing this stretched indictment. The criminal law is not supposed to be an act of creativity. You're supposed to investigate people for existing well-known crimes."” https://www.newsmax.com/newsmax-tv/alan-dershowitz-indictment-donald-trump/2023/03/18/id/1112627/
I have seen a number of legal commentators state that this proposed indictment has to be political, as the statute of limitations has expired on the alleged crime. If they cannot turn it into a Federal crime, which the Biden DOJ has already rejected, there is no substance to the action. Perhaps it is similar to what is happening in Pakistan where the former Prime Minister was indicted and was (according to him) trying to present himself in court when an attempt was made to whisk him directly to prison without trial. Pakistani elections are later this year and some believe this action will strengthen the former PMs chances of getting re-elected. They want him is prison so he cannot run. We are more and more a Third World nation.
