Several years ago I was in a parking lot at a store when I had brain freeze or something. I saw the other car but for some reason I pulled right in front of him. went ahead and parked and watched to se where he parked. I walked over and apologized/ I didn't want to leave him with bad thoughts.
why were the children alone ?.. you said the parent wasn't home... I know it's retrospective question, but I"m curious !!
@Ken Anderson ..welcome to our world here in the UK. We have to deal with the pedestrians walking out into the road totally engrossed in their phones, all day everyday. There has never been a jaywalking law in the country so we've always had to be at the mercy of pedestrians who just step out without looking, and whose given the blame?.. almost always the driver for ''undue care and attention''... so I agree with you, the law has to be changed to make a pedestrian much more responsible for their actions..
Both were single/divorced parents and had to leave her two kids at home alone for awhile while they were at work. Here is what I read online just now: When Can You Leave a Child at Home Alone? Currently, there are only three states that have a minimum age requirement, ranging from age 8 to 14, for leaving a child home alone. The majority of states do not have a specific age of when it is legal to leave a child home alone. However, there are general guidelines (ages) that Child Protective Services can use for investigating a problem.
I was only joking, but yes, there are those that would not only shoot a large woods owl, but have it mounted as well. Wife and I have seen a mount of a large woods owl.
