The orange of a monarch butterfly’s wings is a warning color, identifying itself to predators that the butterfly will taste bad or may be toxic.
In 1885, a patent was awarded to LaMarcus Adna Thompson regarding roller coasters which were made out of wood, however, there were “Russian Mountains” roller coasters considerably earlier.
Researchers say by the year 2085, most cities will be unfit to host the Summer Olympics due to rising temperatures fueled by the changing climate
The top of the Empire State Building was originally built as a place to anchor blimps, Fake pictures surfaced, but it didn't happen until September 1931, when a privately-owned dirigible docked for a mere three minutes, in a 40-mile-per-hour wind. “Traffic was tied up in the streets below for more than a half hour as the pilot, Lieutenant William McCraken jockeyed for position in the half gale about the tower 1,200 feet above the ground,” the Times reported in 1931. On average, a person uses about 100 gallons of water a day, but only drinks about a half gallon per day.
I assume that is water disguised in other beverages. I think that most of us don't drink enough plain water and instead drink it in the form of coffee, tea, milk and other beverages. Hmmm, that is interesting Joe Riley, but I am not sure how it would work in this country. You might end up electing Donald Duck for something. So many people are disgusted it seems by conventional candidates not sure who might end up winning general elections. I think it would be awfully hard to enforce too. I mean is the sheriff going to be sent out to arrest all non voters? Of course, you can get in trouble by not serving on the jury if you are called to do so, so maybe it would work!
