    Truly a freedom-loving country, then, where the government forces it's citizenry to perform an act which should be chosen by the individual, as far as participating is concerned. Just my opinion. Frank

    @K E Gordon

    Here is one then, for you to compare with the 100 gallons per day personal average: our water is metered pretty accurately. During summer months, our average daily usage is twice that amount. A lot goes for watering the plants I strive to keep alive in this hot as "H", "E", "Hockey-stick", Hockey-stick" climate!

    After reading your post I did some research about these fascinating creatures. They're quite amazing.

    Bank Robber John Dillinger played professional baseball. FYI, I saw his death mask in the FBI building in Washington.

    Giraffes sleep for a maximum of two hours a day, usually ten minutes at a time.

    Lake Huron’s Manitoulin Island is the largest island in any inland body of water on the planet.

    That's where I live... Just off the Manitoulin in Massey......

    The real reason Pirates wore an eye patch was because...

    When they go to a lower deck with poor lighting, they could remove the patch and see better with that eye since it’s used to the dark, whereas the other eye would take several minutes to adjust to the change in light.
