I really prefer daylight saving time, because we have the light later into the evening (according to clocks), and I would be perfectly happy to have it stay that way all year around. Not likely to happen, I guess, and thankfully, we only have 1-2 clocks we have to change. The microwave and the coffee-pot ones are easy to change, but we don’t really worry about getting those done, so the bedroom alarm clock and the battery-operated one that Bobby has on the wall by his desk are the main ones we have to change. The rest are all done by computer.
I have no problem at all resetting all of our clocks, which is 7, including the clock in our vehicle. I wish we stay on DST all year.
I wouldn't care if it were Daylight Savings or Standard. I just don't think it makes sense anymore to change, especially up here. Now if they could "save" an hour in June and deposit it in December, that would be worth doing.
DST.or Standard time...just move up or move back one hour and leave it! I just dislike te flip floping back and forth.
They all say that settings our clocks ahead will cause us to lose one hour of sleep, because wakeup time will come an hour earlier. Not me! I'll GAIN an hour of sleep! Wanna know how? Hal
I don't wake up by the clock so it matters little to me. I don't "lose" or "gain" anything; I'm retired.
I used to hate this made up time, daylite time. Now it don't matter. Somebody else has to get up and milk the cows.
We have a bill in the legislature to put Maine on Atlantic time, disregarding daily savings time BS, but it won't pass. Every few years, someone proposes it but it never passes.
Reset all of our apartment clocks this AM and will reset vehicle clock later today. Much, much easier just setting the hour, on some clocks, rather than setting the entire when the electricity goes off and back on.
