Gee, I do wish they would leave it the way it is. Once changed back an hour, if I pass from this earthly vessel before it goes forward again I will have died an hour earlier than it would have been. But then again, if I do make it through the time change, when it goes forward again they will be shortening my life span by an hour.
My body has its own clock. When it's time to get up - I get up 'cause I can't go back to sleep; when it's to go to sleep - I go to sleep 'cause I can't stay awake. As far as changing clocks, I didn't like it either but it was necessary to arrive to work on time - not that I had that problem 'cause I was already awake. Now that I'm retired from the working force there are clocks that are set one way or the other around the house. If you look at one and think "That's not right." Just do the math.
Same here. Whether still dark or still light, I get up or go to bed when I'm ready. Ofcourse, now that I get up around 4 am, the next time change will put me at 3 am and the neighbors might think I'm senile or creepy.
It may be an asset if others believe you to be senile or creepy. It keeps the oddballs and weirdos from your doorsteps. (Fade in the bathtub scene music from Psycho)
Enjoying my morning until the phone rings and my neighbor wants to know if everything is alright. Confused, I inquire what makes him think something is wrong. He says my light was off at 4 AM in my room where I do my morning exercises. Am I feeling well? Feeling just fine and dandy and appreciate your concern, but my lights were on in my studio/exercise room at o four hundred hours sharp. He laughs and makes a smart remark about me forgetting to set my clocks. Being the quick wit I am, I let him know that I purposely didn't set them as I am protesting this communist time instigated by rich liberals that want the extra daylight hour for recreational purposes burning fossil fuels and trying to blame it on me. He reminds me we are going back to the original conservative time loved by many especially farmers and ranchers and early risers. "The time you love, Faye!" I hate it when he is right. Daylight now breaking at o six hundred hours PST and clocks set to reflect real time. Coffee is hot and life is good.
Yeah, I’m guilty too. I slept in thinking it was 0530 and it was really 0430. My younger brother, who lives in Europe, decided it was time to message me about his left wing political views even before I had my first cup of coffee. Life will indeed be good when I the gym this afternoon just to work off a bunch of aggravation and body fat.
It is cool, but can you pronounce it? I had to check a pronounce video to get it right. The queens English can be tricky
did you feel weirded out that he's noticing if your exercise room lights are on or not at that hour...ha!
