There are many ruins around the world that the bolders/stones are cut and fitted in place without modern tools and survive today.

I heard of another formation (Can't remember where!) that was built with material that was native to an area miles away without any explanation as to how they would get the their location!!

Having seen the remains of Pompeii and Herculaneum, it would be interesting to go back to a period before these towns were devastated by Vesuvius, just to see what life was like for ordinary people.

It's always intriguing to look at the ancient ruins of towns and cities and imagine what might have been going on. One example is Carthage, where almost nothing remains, but it must have been a large and busy place before the Romans decided that it had to be wiped out.

The Mystery of Puma Punku No one knows who designed and built this complex of sophisticated inter-locking blocks, and then vanished.

Well according to my late husband, the answer is they were built by aliens! He firmly believed that.

I want to go back to the very beginning. If I run into Adam and Eve, then I will know the Bible to be true. If I am the only human and only see single celled archaea, then the scientists are on the right track.

Has anyone read Stephan King's book, 11/22/63? I am aware that it came out in 2011, but I must have missed it at the time. The storeroom of a small diner, is a Time Portal, that delivers a person back in time to 1958. No matter how long you are gone, when you return...only two minutes have passed. I just read the review, and may buy it. Anyone read it?

Had not read it or even heard of it before ... but think I will get it now. Thanks Joe!

I watched episode #1 of 11-22-63, on Hulu, last night! The episodes air for the next 7 Mondays. I found it riveting, and look forward to the next episode.
    Anyone else watch it?
