I am so worried about that , too ! As much as we all miss Ina, I am sure that Izzy is the one whose heart is broken most of all. He has been with her all of his life, night and day. She took him through all of the companion dog schooling so that he could be licensed to go with her anywhere. When she was here, and we went out for lunch, Izzy came along to the cafe and sat in the chair next to Ina and shared her dinner with her. He knows Bobert, and Patricia, but it is not the same as having Ina who loved him beyond what any other person will ever love him. Patricia has other dogs, and some of them are large dogs, and I worry how Izzy will do if he goes there; but I do not know where else he would go, and he does not even know anyone else besides Pat and Bobert. I know that God knows where Izzy needs to be, and I am just adding his welfare into my prayers for Ina’s family.
Maybe since Bobert had been living with Ina for quite awhile Izzy might have gotten attached to him too....and he will keep and take care of Izzy now.
Yes, but Bobert will probably have to move back home and that's where the pit bulls are according to @Yvonne Smith.
Oh I must have missed reading that part, that certainly would not be a good thing for Izzy to have to live with pit bulls. I hope Ina has a will that says what are wishes are for Izzy and I also hope whoever is involved here will respect those wishes.
Looking on Patricia’s FB photos, it looks like maybe 6 (or more) dogs, different sizes, mostly large ones. Plus they have at least one horse, chickens and other livestock. I think 5-6 people living there, too; so it would all be very different from what Izzy has been used to having. Ina said that Bobert usually just lived in his bedroom, so if he takes Izzy in there with him, it might work out okay. Right now, they seem to be staying at Ina’s house, so Izzy is probably still doing fine.
I never seen a photo of izzzy was there one on here somewhere ? I can understand the poor little dogs heart must be broken, and he’s proberly looking out wondering where his dear “mum” is Hopefully Ina would have told a family member, who was to look after him if she wasn’t around to care for him
He is nine pounds of absolute adorableness . Since I have thought about it, Ina would have certainly made arrangements for him to be cared for in case of her death. If I should die, my son is to take Miki. She loves him dearly and he loves her, too.
I'm sure Ina made plans for Izzy. If I should die, Pickles would go my daughter's house. They are his second family and he's been there without me when I've gone to my son's for a month.
The way Ina often posted I get the feeling she was a planner and didn't leave much to chance so I won't be surprised if we hear she has not only made plans for Izzy but for Bobert too...to make sure they both are taken care of.
Things are not looking good, guys, and I need help . (Actually, it is Ina’s family who needs help) I just spoke with Bobert again, and it sounds like the vultures are already coming in. Without going into details (since this is a public forum that anyone can read), if anyone has been told anything by Ina about her will, or even intentions of what she was leaving to anyone, please private message me. Bobert and Patricia can’t find any kind of a will, and they asked me to see if maybe Ina had mentioned anything about it to anyone here. Claims are already being made to take Izzy (and his food allowance), as well as Ina’s new Sportage, and I am extremely upset about how things are going right now. Please keep this in your prayers ! !
