Tomato Sandwich Day, A Southern Tradition

We have friends that drive out each year from Nebraska to catch the Country Music Festival
and we swap goodies.

They bring us Runza's, Dorothy Lynch salad dressing and some Deer roast or such.

They take back Dukes mayonnaise, Goo Goo's and other Southern treats, such as local 'Shine'
for him .

 

I bet some of the users here don't even know what shine is.

 

I'll give them a musical clue...

 

I bet that would be good with a tomato sandwich with Dukes mayonnaise.
