Tony, a single-edge razor blade will probably be your best bet for the glue. Faster and cleaner. Do you know of a shade-tree mechanic who could look at the window for you?

I did find on craigslist some mechanics that will come to your home to fix your car.
I just got back from ace hardware to pick up the glue remover, You have the right idea with a razor.
When I came out of Ace, which is on A corner, Across the road and running Perpendicular is anothere's another section of stores. On the opposite.
corner, There's a Japanese restaurant that has a garbage can out front, The top of the can is closed the side has a small opening to throw garbage in. Out of that opening popped a crow with a bag of left over food in it's beak, Scattered in front of the can where bags of previously eaten food. I just find it amazing how clever they are.

A lot going on this week, the landscaper/ Sprinkler man, is due back today or tomorrow. The sprinkles are not working, the 2 timers has to be set. There's one for the pump and one for the valves.
He also left the Dirt Pile and a skid on the side of my driveway he has to remove it. I replaced the plastic piping he used between the faucet and the pump due to heavy leaking. I used a wash machine hose. There is a major leak at the output connections to the valve control. The reason for the leaks is he used treaded plastic pipes without sealing it. I wrapped one pipe tread with Teflon tape the leak was gone.
Tomorrow the Town plumbing inspector is scheduled to be back, to check the AC System.
The contractors also to be here tomorrow to escort the town inspector and he will remain to complete some of the work that's not done, he'll be here Wednesday also if needed.
Lawn maintenance people I'm supposed to be here on Wednesday to mow the lawn. There is no access to the back right now so it will have to be done by us but at least they'll take care of the front.
Our two front beds are covered in Weeds, I call somebody that advertised on Craigslist they did the weeding, mulching, and planting which is exactly what we need for the front bed. I asked him for a quote they never came to look at the beds, instead they texted it would be $50 an hour. I won't work that way so I canceled them.

You can't tell how fast or slow they'll go, or if they'll purposely gonna slow down.
In my younger days I could weed, laydown weed block and mulch in 3-4 hours.
I remember for my daughter's wedding In the front beds I planted over 300 annuals, using a bulb planter and a piece of wood for spacing in less than 3 hours. Alternating yellow marigolds and violet ageratums it was beautiful. I wish I could say the combination was my idea, I saw it in a attraction upstate called Sterling Forrest.

I'm just thinking that $50/hr for unskilled labor is absurd. You can probably hire a high school kid to pull the weeds for you. Have you asked your lawn crew if they would do it?

Not yet, I have not talked to the owner except on the phone, which I set up a meeting for last Thursday, he never showed. I tried calling, they want a message but the voice mail is full. They were suppose to start mowing this Wednesday. Now I don't know.

The town inspector was here to Check the Central AC System, it passed his inspection. That was the last inspection needed to apply for Certificate of Occupancy.
There are a few minor things the contractor has to do to complete his work here. If he finishes We will give him his final payment. That will close the book on the refurbishment. It will be a relief for all.
My Landscape/ Sprinkler system guy Was supposed to be here, However he did call to tell me he was on the way to the hospital Because he had Heavy poison ivy infections. I believe him because he showed me some photos Of his hands All swollen.
What is left is in our court, to be honest were both dragging our butts, it's been a tiring 1 1/2 years.
I walk around the property where the ground is solid, I'm always worried about falling. I'm looking for some of my plants, My old friends to see if they popped up. My champions They reseed themselves, I have found a few some some reseeded in the cracks of the cement walks. I'm sad about a peony We had, that was over a 100years old, it didn't come up.

Another possibility is to contact one of your local churches and see if they have a youth group who would like to work and earn some money for the group. I did that back when I lived in Idaho and needed help at my place that I could not do myself. It helped me, and helped the kids youth group also, and they did an excellent job.

Lawn maintenance group were here to do the front lawn. They mow, edge, and blow. We have to do a little more clearing out before they can mow the back there's no access right now.
This morning I ran and did some errands, went to the the bakery ordered happy birthday cake for my wife's birthday tomorrow. I ordered the usual whipped cream cake half chocolate pudding half Fresh strawberries. This works out great for me my family loves strawberries so while there munching on that half of the cake I'm taking care of the other half love chocolate pudding, I do not like strawberries. Then I went to the Italian Deli, I picked up a quart of plain tomato sauce, and quart of meat sauce we mix them together. While there had a nice chat with Pete the owner, I've known him for over 40 years, we're both pasta lovers and I selected a pasta for tonight I've
been looking and craving for, it was one of his favorites also.
Tomorrow night for my wife's birthday I'm taking her and my family to the Longhorn Steakhouse. I hope it's good we've never been there.
Looking forward to the pasta tonight hooray!!!

Seems like I spend a lot of time in the parking lot of hospitals and doctor's offices. I'm in the parking lot of our family doctor my wife has a visit scheduled for this morning, she found a lump in her groin yesterday. My daughter and I tell her not to carry heavy stuff, like garbage bags from the back of the yard to the front. We think it might be a hernia, my wife is nervous because of her history with cancer.
Both my wife and I are not at an age or condition that we should be doing heavy yard work, but we have no choice. We try to work until "we're feeling it", then stop and take a break but sometimes you're in the middle of something you just want to finish so you push.
Hopefully the office isn't crowded and she'll be helped soon, it's 73° out but in this car I feel like I'm in a hot house.

Winds up my wife's lump is a cyst. They gave her a prescription not sure what for but I'm in the parking lot now of the drugstore CVS. They said it might break on its own, if not they gave her a couple of surgeons that could take care of it.

My wife's prescription was for an antibiotic. They also gave her a blood test said they check it for cancer markers to be safe.
I've had pain in both legs in the front muscle above the knee since Friday night. I've been trying to rest it.
The last time I had something similar I felt like the muscle was being ripped off the bone excruciating pain, it took two weeks to even get around a little.
So far the pain has been bearable, just feeling tired I think I'm going to go take a nap.

Things have been crazy here, last night I was Awakening at 4am by Tia my dog, because twinkle our pug had to go out. Tia is very smart whatever there is no food in there dish, or they have to go out she alerts me with a bark and will walk to the door or dish. Fortunately she got me up because while up I checked see how the sprinkler system was doing because it comes on at 4:00Am. Nothing was coming out. I went out to check to make sure the pump was running, it was on but with major leaks. I shut it down, now we're back to watering the lawn with a hose end sprinkler, which means we have to move it around to cover the whole lawn. the installer not answering my calls.
The wife and I ran a few errands this morning, when finished we decided to stop for lunch. We went to a Diner we frequent. Both lunches were terrible, I had eggs with home fries and bacon. the home fries were burned and the bacon was burned black and like soft rubber. My wife had a Ruben with French Fries. The Ruben was tough, she ate 1/4 of the sandwich. She put Ketchup on the fries, it had an awful taste. She felt someone may have dump something into the bottle.
    plus the service was awful.
We complained to the manager, he took a few dollars off the bill.
