Born in Malaga of Andalusian Spain but living most of his life in France, this individual became a colossal figure of twentieth-century modern art. He co-founded Cubism, helped invent constructed sculpture or assemblage, and co-invented collage. Who was this incredibly versatile and prolific artist whose masterpiece is an eleven-by-twenty-five-foot oil painting depicting the flattening of a Spanish town by the Germans before WWII?
@Thomas Stearn , I know who you are talking about but I can't remember his name. He painted some weird pictures, like people with their eyes in one corner and their noses crooked across the canvas. I never liked his paintings. I like my people with their eyes in the proper place. I may look him up if @Craig Swanson doesn't have it.
Just looked up Picasso's bio. It is him. So rather than wait for Thomas' reveal. Who Am I: I was born in 1869 on the Sub Continent. Studied law in England. Lived and worked in Sth Africa before returning to my home country. Was decorated by the British during the Boer War and Zulu rebellion.
