Apart from the fact that the Biden family made a lot of money from Ukraine, I don't know why we're involved there.

I believe that Hillary also stood up a Ukraine version of her Haiti Relief Fund.

I am just saying that any alliance with them is totally one-sided. They contribute little or nothing to the security of Europe, NATO, or the word at large. It is a bit like defending defenseless children. We could have a defense pact with them, but they shouldn't be a part of NATO as they don't contribute anything to the alliance. Just another place to defend.

The Biden family and the Clintons have interests there, as, I understand does the Democrat party. It is said they keep documents and funds in Ukraine to keep them from scrutiny by election officials. It is also said by Russia and others that we have more biolabs there like we do in China. I don't know if any of that is true, but if the Republicans were accused of anything like it, it would be on every MSM outlet around, especially if there was a hint of a Trump connection.

I watched a few clips of the rally in MSG. Honestly I'm surprised to see so much support in NYC. I loved JD Vance and Elon; I think Elon is really getting a kick out of being a part of the MAGA action. :D I even watched Dr. Phil, whom I personally detest... but he did give a good speech. I'm sure Oprah isn't too happy about that, lol.

Hah! You should see the Harris ads we're getting here. Sheer fear and lies.

Yeah, we are getting a bunch of lies too from her side. They keep trying to attach the 2025 plan or something like that to Trump. He says he is not familiar with it and has never read it. I guess it was developed by the Heritage Foundation but it has nothing to do with Trump. The Dems here also keep saying that the Republicans want a "nationwide ban on abortion--no exceptions for rape incest , or the life of the mother". I have never seen anything like that advocated by anyone except perhaps religious folks who believe abortion to be murder, but it has never been associated with Republicans or Trump, and Trump says the topic is back to the states where it belongs and that is that. People in each state can decide what they want and the Federal government has no role or business dealing with it.

We also have a dark money campaign here to keep the Ranked Choice Voting in place here in Alaska. It was pushed by the supporters of Lisa Murkowski as she cannot win a primary here. Why big money from Denver, Chicago, Houston, and Atlanta care how Alaska votes is a reason to vote to remove it. It allows a minority (one who gets less than 50% of the vote) candidate to win an election.

They are trying to get the same thing in Idaho now, too, @Don Alaska . I have been reading the Idaho politicians warning about the issue being on the ballot in Idaho, and to vote NO on the issue.
I think that I read about it somewhere else, too, but I do not remember which other state it was happening in.
One of the survey questionnaires I was doing the other day was asking people what they thought about it, too; so this is apparently a big push right now.

Ranked choice is on our ballot too. That's one I already knew about and didn't have to research before marking no. I'm so often disappointed that HELL NO! isn't a choice.

What's disappointing is reading a political thread where everyone is non-political and seeing how uniformed and unable to apply common sense they are. This latest thread was on Next Door which forbids political discussion unless it trends liberal.

There were so many important issues on my ballot this year. In addition to ranked choice there was abortion, parole, stopping hunting of predators, mental health, school choice, and same-sex marriage. Passing only 2 or 3 of those will make the state unlivable for families if it isn't already. If I had a young family I'd be in Wyoming before time for dinner.

I've been holding back on completing my absentee ballot because I'm spending a lot of time... overthinking it. :p

I'm hanging onto a ton of literature I've gotten by mail or hung onto my front door because I'm hoping it helps me navigate the "non-partisan" offices on the ballot. Then there are the Proposals and such piggybacked on there this time.

I might also be willing to give consideration to a Dem here or there who has publicly turned away and endorsed Trump. That suggests pretty strongly to me that the GOP opponent is a never-Trumper from the Romney et al. camp.

I feel a little foolish for just one vote, but in reality we should probably all be giving more attention to our picks.

I was the same on getting the ballot finished, Jacob. I used several local and state voter guides from people and organizations that I trust to be sure I understood the language of the measures.

No Dems for me. Once they are in office the party will threaten them if they don't follow the party line. I don't know if you followed Sen. Joe Manchin the last 4 years. He often publicly opposed his own Democrat Party but on the most important vote he reneged his stance and voted with them on a big bill. He's not running for Senate again.

The Dems promised him a pipeline or something if he voted with them. He did as a greed, then they reneged on the promise and stopped the pipeline. I think that is when he decided to leave the Senate. He is pretty sure that with him gone, his seat will flip Republican.

A number of Democrats are running as Trump supporters--I think 4. I saw an add that Casey in Pennsylvania is running as a Trump backer, at least on fracking

Yes, Manchin trusted the Democrats. Let that be a lesson. If they will lie to their own senator they will lie to you.

Casey. Voters might as well trust the devil.

I just saw that more people have seen the Joe Rogan interview than all the MSM COMBINED. So far 34 million views on YouTube alone. When you add Spotify and other outlets there were probably 100 million views/listens. The Madison Square Garden rally had 20,000 inside and reportedly at least as many rallying outside. The ballot mills are cranking out fake ballots as fast as they can. Who will come out on top? America or the foreign special interests?
