I did hear one thing and that was he and Trump have disagreed a lot on different things. I think that's a good person to have, to an extent I mean. Because Trump doesn't need people surrounding him telling him he's doing great if he isn't. He's surrounded himself with smart people, evidently, in business, so I expect he will do all he can to do the same in the Whitehouse. Seek wise counsel is what I call it. I like his kids, always have. He did a good job with them. Being that wealthy most are on drugs or alcoholics or both. Look at Paris Hilton. As for Pence, he is too conservative for my tastes but he's only a VP. He seems rather bland to me but I guess it's a good contrast to Trumps loudness.
Conservatives say that Pence is a neoconservative (which is paramount to saying that he's a liberal), and liberals say he is a far right conservative. I say that he's not my kind of a conservative but that it doesn't really matter unless Trump is elected and dies in office.
@Ken Anderson , what exactly is a neocon? On my first forum ever in 2004 there was a lot of nasty political debate and all the right were called neocons then, yet they fit the profile of a far right conservative more than a liberal one. Where these people just wrong in their meaning or has the word changed since then? Was Bush a neocon?

It was an okay speech....average. Sorry Denise, I don't get so excited and fired up like you do. Even though Trump is not an insider....it's still politics and they say what they think their base wants to hear. I'm also hearing that the Cruz supporters will most likely vote for the independent candidate and I forget who that is. Nobody I've heard of. Just saw it all over Facebook. Just went and looked, it's the constitutional Party nominee, not independent party...sorry.
