Tucker will be having steak and taters a lot more often than the rest of us. I really didn't see that he had helped Trump all that much and all I watched was FOX during the entire period Trump ran and won. I hated to see Bill O'Reilly tossed out the door. He was good to watch because he don't like anyone so that keeps his remarks pretty even with all the opponents. I still cannot be persuaded to believe that the halfwit beat Donald Trump without some heavy cheating going on. All I have to do is look at the people involved in the dnc and that is enough for me to believe it was a complete setup. If they can do a complete coup de tat then they can certainly steal an election. Locking observers out from watching the process is also another sure thing there was some underhanded vote stealing and planting going on in ..... wait for it..... the states that were late to finally give a count. I didn't roll off the back of a turnip truck yesterday.

I agree. There's a good chance that some, or all, of the Tucker Carlson scandal videos, are deepfakes. Media Matters is not the most dependable, when it comes to truth, although some of their stuff is entertaining.

It looks like Tucker Carlson is moving his show to Twitter, and suing Fox.

The latest viral news on Twitter is that Tucker Carlson and Elon Musk have come to some kind of agreement, and Tucker will be doing his program on Twitter. I am not sure how that works, but I know that Musk has been working on making changes, and one of those is for people to produce more content on Twitter and have subscribers, maybe similar to what Rumble and Bitchute have.
Tucker has posted a short video on Twitter that explains how he fees about the mainstream media controlling news, and that he plans to be able to make a comeback and have his program and news show again.

Aha….looks like @Ken Anderson and I were reporting about the same thing at the same time !

Should be interesting. They need to find a way to stream this to large screens, since many of us don't like to spend hours watching videos on our phones. And I'm an app-a-phobe.

Me too, but I am tempted to join Twitter just as a protest against the media on this.

I have been wondering the same thing, and I think that this will add more people to Twitter, just to follow Tucker Carlson. What is your husband going to do, @Beth Gallagher ; I remember you said that he always listened to Tucker on Fox News at night ?

We have had several people move to the Twitter platform recently. James O’Keefe, from Project Veritas, was removed from that platform, and is now pretty much on Twitter, and there is also Dan Bongino, who was also let go from Fox.
People have been saying that they expect President Trump back on Twitter very soon, too. He apparently had a year-long contract with Truth Social, which is almost up, and once that happens, they think that Trump will be back on Twitter.

I only use Twitter for news information, and it seems like it is about the fastest way to get news now, and maybe the most accurate, since people in the area where the news is happening are able to post pictures and information about what is actually happening, and not just what the news channels are telling people is going on.

Elon Musk is steering the platform into the direction of becoming worldwide news, as opposed to a social gathering like Facebook tends to be. It is the place to read that another factory is burning down, as opposed to pictures of someone’s cute kittens (although there are those on Twitter, too).

As far as seeing it on a large screen, anyone who can connect their laptop to their television can watch Tucker on that once they have signed up for Twitter. You do not need to have the Twitter app.

He wasn't a particular fan of Carlson, Yvonne. He just always has Fox News on, haha. He definitely won't bother joining Twitter to watch Tucker.

    Not so fast... :p

"Twitter CEO Elon Musk said late Tuesday that the platform had not signed a formal deal with former Fox News host Tucker Carlson, who earlier in the day announced plans to launch a new show on Twitter.

“I also want to be clear that we have not signed a deal of any kind whatsoever. Tucker is subject to the same rules & rewards of all content creators,” Musk said on the social media platform." https://www.yahoo.com/news/musk-tucker-carlson-show-launch-115659748.html

Content creators can do very well through advertising alone, but most of them also have connected businesses and other paid businesses connected to their channels. A 9-year-old YouTuber (Ryan Kaji) with 41.7 million subscribers earned $29.5 million through advertising and the sale of products from June 1, 2019, through June 1, 2020. I expect that Tucker knows what he's doing, and it wouldn't necessarily involve payment from Elon Musk.

Most content creators plug away on their channels for years before they even have enough viewers to monetize them, but Tucker would have an instant viewership.

It will be interesting to follow this. If Tucker is successful (I think he will be) we should see more 'stars' from Fox following him there and taking their shows with them. Fox News wanted to be establishment and now they may get their wish in ways they didn't expect.

It looks like Tucker Carlson has done his first show on Twitter, which is called (appropriately enough) , Tucker on Twitter. He talks about the dam that was blown up in the Ukraine, near Crimea, which msm is naturally blaming on Russia, but was actually very likely done by Ukraine.
They raised the dam to the highest level that it has been in around 10 years; so this was a planned attack to cause as much damage as possible. Since it cuts off water to Crimea and does more damage to Russia than to Ukraine, it is totally unlikely that Russia did this, just like the pipe line that they were accused of blowing up a few months back.
Anyway, Tucker talked about several other things (I didn’t watch), and had over a million views in about a half hour. It looks like the demise of mainstream media is definitely starting to come about, and Tucker is leading the way, with a lot of help from Elon Musk.

    And the mini-drama continues...

    Mon, June 12, 2023 at 7:39 AM CDT https://www.yahoo.com/entertainment/tucker-carlson-received-cease-desist-123903255.html

Fox News has accused Tucker Carlson of violating his contract terms. Fox News has sent a cease-and-desist letter to Tucker Carlson after the launch of his Twitter show. The network has accused Carlson of breaching his contract, Axios reported. It raises the stakes in the battle between Carlson and his former network.
