(Terry , I pull up my Geraniums up for the winter, in late fall., shake off the dirt then put them in paper bags in the basement til next spring. Then replant. )

Yes I do the same Louise, they are amazingly hardy plants and tolerate drought well, also if you take cuttings during the month of August they are usually 100% successful, any other month less so. ( I guess that may only apply to the UK though )
