Lucky no fatalities. Looks awesome. Australia does not have tornados.. as such.. but we have annual cyclones in out tropical north that cause mass destruction and sometimes loss of life. This is one that struck Townsville early this year.

We are getting reports of a tornado in Monroe, Louisiana. I know that @Babs Hunt lives in Louisiana but not sure how close she is to where the tornado struck down, or how serious it is yet. Saying prayers for her safety !

We have that serious storm coming through, but so far just lots of thunder and lightning. The radar looks like we will have the worst part later this afternoon. Hoping we don’t have any tornadoes here, and just get the rain and wind.
We brought all of the little plants inside, and they will stay in the house until we get some nice weather again in a few days.

We are fine @Yvonne Smith...we didn't even get any real rain from this storm system...it decided to go up again and pretty much skip Lafayette. Which we are thankful for while praying for those who were affected.

PRAISE THE LORD ! ! I am so glad to hear that, @Babs Hunt . That is about what happened here, too, although we did get a LOT of rain. the whole back yard looked like a pond for a while late yesterday afternoon.
It is looking like Mississippi was hit pretty hard, and the east coast is getting it now, with 70 mph winds.

Well, this was serious stuff as it turned out. It seems to me these spring storms may be shifting a wee bit easward
from what we used to know as standard fare here in Oklahoma and north central Texas. Oklahoma, for sure, me thinks.
