Your post here is what prompted me to tell about the lives lost the other day. It was snowy driver claim himself he could not stop because of snow and he was drunk and high.
Even in Maine, when we have snow for as many months (or more) than we don't have snow, the first snow or icy roads of the year always result in loads of accidents. It's like people forget how to drive on ice during the summer.

Actually, I seriously doubt folks "forget" about how to drive in bad weather conditions, they simply don't care. They have someplace to go and want to get there.....…...no matter how bad the roads/highways are.
OK, so it's settled. There are good and bad drivers at every age. (But those tattooed drivers.... YIKES. )
