It's only because I want to get this part over as quickly as possible, so I'm cutting calories a lot. Most people will tell you not to do that. It works for me. Everyone is different. I think it is a better strategy for you to go slowly because of your light-headedness issues. If you go slower you'll probably see more daily ups and downs. Don't get discouraged. Just keep going. If you mess up one day, just forget it, and start again the next day. You'll get there.
Thanks, Joe. So it's not so easy as 21 or 35 days. There is so much wiggle room when it comes to eating habits. Not the same as, say, quitting smoking, or taking a walk every day. It's a matter of degree. Sometimes you just gradually ease out of good habits, before you even notice. I know it helps to have a routine, a schedule, every day, and I've lost that in the last couple of years. I just can't seem to judge without counting calories, and that is too much trouble every day. Or maybe it isn't? I wish there were some device you could strap on your wrist and an alarm bell would go off whenever you get to maintenance calories..

Omg...I do hope you folks are not stressing over the scales! Your weight fluctuates all day long just like your BP. Some days you weigh more because of the salt you ate- next day or so you maybe drop a pound it is water weight not fat. I weigh once every two weelks...usually and that day comes tomorrow.
June 28/29 Calories: 1020 Weight: 126.6 Lots of sweating yesterday. Maybe today too. Depends on my mood, and how early I get moving. Right now, I'm not much inclined.
