June 29/30 Calories: 1080 Weight: 126.2 LOTS of activity yesterday (and the day before). It will go back up.
Put all that bread in the freezer, Bill. As my grandmother would say, you need more food that will "stick to your ribs." This guy says it too. Bacon and eggs.
Unless you are 4', how could that possibly be considered overweight? I bet you look a lot thinner than you think you do.
Where did I say it was overweight? .I like to explain sudden drops or rises. That's all. Goal is 125. Well within normal limits for my height. Not a competition here.
June 30/1 Calories: 1320 Weight: 126.8 Three days in a row, <= 127, so I'm upping calories to approx 1300/day for a few days. Those extra calories will probably come from pineapple, because mine is starting to gradually change color in the fridge.
@Nancy Hart, Fifteen or sixteen hundred calories a day is not to hard for me to do and get by on but I don't think that's going to lose me any weight. It seems harder this time aound. I complained to my doctor and she says I'm taking a daily medication that makes me hungary, and to fill up on water which will help. It seems that if drinking more water is the only remedy, then we're grasping at straws and I'm going to have to buckle down and do it the hard way. Mickey Mouse! My the time get you back in my sights, you'll have dropped all the weight you want to drop and moved to Scotland or somewhere, leaving me out on this track all alone wondering what happened. You're doing great. Keep it up.
Bill, maybe you should try to estimate how many calories you need per day just to stay even (called maintenance calories). There are lots of calculators on the internet. Here's a simple one: CLICK HERE ...Fill it in and click "Calculate" Then drop your calories by 500/day, and count just for one week. You should lose a pound. A pound is 3500 calories. Then maybe see if you can guess, without having to count. But seriously, I think you should try to eat food that keeps you from getting hungry all the time: Protein, fat, complex carbs (peas, beans, whole grains, vegetables), unless your doctor has restricted some of these. If you really hate counting calories, maybe just pick any low carb diet. There is another thread on this forum about that. I don't plan on leaving this thread any time soon. I'd like to concentrate on trying to develop some better habits.
Okay, took your advise, got myself a calculation based on all the ingrediates required and came up with 1500 calories a day Plan. Will try to adjust that with what foods I have in the house.. It may take a couple of days to figure out what we've got to meet the calory count. Gonna try, may have to binge once in a while.
July 1/2 Calories: 1270 Weight: 126.4 Exercise: Cut down one more red tip bush and loaded it into the truck to haul off today.
