Yes, there are some nice looking farm areas in NYS, but I will still take the farm (and ranch) areas of the Rockies, High Plains, Oklahoma, Iowa and even Texas.
Really as I see it I am a lifelong Texas here, it would be like me thinking I was an expert on your area which I sure am not, demographics laws and customs. Those whom are what we call know it alls I have no use for.
@Tex Dennis Those whom are what we call know it alls I have no use for. I feel the same way about anyone who constantly takes jabs at others, whether it's done anonymously or not, jumps in the middle of something they know nothing about - a Busybody.
I'll admit to being surprised by how beautiful New Jersey is. Before visiting there, I considered it an unpleasant place of oil refineries, dirty cities, and loud-mouthed people. (Thank television for that.)
Almost every state has beautiful parts. I recall being impressed by rural Massachusetts and Connecticut when I first visited there. I didn't realize the western parts of those states were any different than the urban parts until I saw for myself. Southern New Jersey is similar. Much of the Pine Barrens are wilderness (or at least they were when last I visited) and the South Shore is great.
