I feel like this forum has everything it needs but I may be missing something. Not unusual [ go away Tom, not now].
Maybe somebody else will think of something.

I haven't felt well these past few days and the same goes for some folks I know. It couldn't be something I caught visiting Seniors Only (I'm being silly) but still it's odd that so many people are sick at the same time.

Well Dwight, you know me and of course it was let down on us by the demons in the Outhouse, but this isn't the forum for it so before I get you in trouble lets talk about what the forum needs.

l will try. My computer takes out and adds things, jumping around. We may get extra stuff any way. I just stopped fighting with it. Sometimes I loose my whole post.

Sorry to be such a buttinski, but our replies get lost in the original message. Then our comments are not available for others to quote, so mankind loses out. ;)

I have the same quoting issue, when my typing starts out in the middle of the quote so as to be part of it. It stinks when I don't notice it until I've already typed my diatribe and I gotta pick it apart. It happens to me in every forum I'm on. It's easy enough to fix, but still inconvenient.

I just happened to trip over this thread a little while ago. I've read most of the comments and I must say I was pleasantly surprised at some of the answers. People are interested in sharing meaningful things, with a look to elicit some feed back on their post.

If a thread interests me and find when I read it, I am better off not responding to it as it may deal with health issues and the like. Since that was my business in life, I prefer avoiding such topics, but I do read most.

I'll see a news item I've already read and may have even commented on elsewhere, such as the news site, so I veer away from those as well.

I do not read anyone's private journal or diary that person wishes to share. Sorry, I don't know you and it just would make me feel like a voyeur. I feel the same way when someone uses a cell phone in my presence.

I've connected well with a number of people here and enjoy some give and take, as well as serious exchanges of thought.

Humor always gets me going and I enjoy that no end.

i was sick this weekend. hubby gave me his cold. But I am getting over it a bit today. the most annoying symptom is a runny nose. I probably should look up covid quarantine times in case it is covid. I wouldn't test.
I waste a lot of time but I really did not like being down for an illness.

I think this forum needs more participation by its members.
Most forums need less argument and more debate.

Maybe, more posters, and fewer lurkers that never post anything.
Who knows why they won't post anything? I guess when they read this, they may tell me a thing or two.
