One of the good things that came out of the sanitizing panic of the pandemic is that I have finally learned how to use a QR code. Restaurants in my area have increasingly adopted this technology in lieu of distributing germ-ridden menus. A waitress at the last restaurant I ate at a week ago or so taught my whole table recently -- well, all but the one guy who still doesn't have a smart phone. Knowing how to work this piece of technology has taken years off my life, 10 pounds off my belly, and restored my thick and lustrous hair. [ I may be exaggerating just a bit ]

What one good thing have you acquired, learned, or done in the last 16 months that you wouldn't have had "normal" life had not be so massively disrupted? Tell us. :)

Because of the Dr. Fauci Virus, Maine isn't enforcing its ban against plastic shopping bags.

I have learned to appreciate normal life. You never appreciate normal until you have lost it.

The government has required other humans to stay at least 6 feet away from me.
I've been lobbying for 10 feet, 'cause I can still hear them.

@Mary Robi, good for you! I may have accidentally saved some money, but I'm afraid I've spent it mostly on delivery fees. ;)

The state of Virginia does not allow lottery winners to remain anonymous. Not only is your name published, you are also required to have your picture posted on the state lottery website.

COVID has provided some level of anonymity:

You might know his name, but you ain't gonna recognize him on the street.

The best thing I got out of the pandemic was the full retirement for my Honey. Now he's home with me full time and I love it.

Not much except a little more isolation. But then I might have been isolated anyway........
