I am planning on having fried eggs and biscuits and gravy in the morning. I am multitasking by planning my breakfast ahead of time and attempting to get this thread out of the ditch and back on the road.:)

I'm eating biscuits and sausage gravy right now. YUM!! Biscuits are Pillsbury Buttermilk type and the gravy is canned from Libby's. Guess that is one breakfast food I love that came with us from the South. Biscuits and gravy aren't as well known in the northern states as in the southern states. When we lived in northeastern Florida, we use to go to Cracker Barrel sometimes for breakfast. They serve it there.

Well, first of all Gloria, we can get away with eating the sausage gravy out of a can, because we aren't southerners. And, the Libby's canned sausage gravy isn't nearly as bad as someone might think. When there is no other way to have biscuits and gravy, a person "has to do what they have to do" to have biscuits and gravy. :D

Crunchy taters and hash make me smile and this place did it right. It was a small restaurant but also had smoked salmon benedict on the menu. Being more down home than uppity, I always go for the above when out for breakfast or early brunch .

If we go out to eat (which is rarely), my favorite place , and maybe @Bobby Cole’s too, is IHOP, and we always have the country fried steak breakfast and coffee, with over-medium eggs, and pancakes on the side.
I really enjoy this breakfast and always look forward to our trips to IHOP. Seeing @Cody Fousnaugh post about his biscuits and eggs reminded me of how great the gravy is at IHOP, that they put on the country-fried steak.

A couple of times this week I’ve prepared low fat probiotic yoghurt with chia seeds ( add seeds to yoghurt or milk ,stir let sit for 5 mins stir again ) let it sit in fridge overnight it’s delicious .

Most days I’ll have plain probiotic yoghurt a sprinkle of high fibre / high protein cereal and stewed / preserved fruit

I used to love Ihops breakfasts but we don't go out anymore. So I most often eat one of God's great breakfasts, Ham and eggs, toast or biscuits, coffee.
Hard to beat. Of course you can add to it.
