Last night we watched Don't Look Up on Netflix.

"A star-studded cast of Jennifer Lawrence, Leonardo DiCaprio, Meryl Streep and more star in this satire of collective denial and media sensationalism. A comedy film about two astronomers trying to warn humanity of an incoming comet that will destroy the world."

"Screamers" (1995), decent cast, based on a Philip K. Dick story. Sci-Fi with horrific elements but not really a horror film.

Low budget, technically a B movie, but well done enough that I'd call it B++ despite one actor's poor performance.

Hang with it, it starts a little goofy and formulaic but builds from there. Avoid the trailers, they spoil too much. Go in blind, the twists will mean more to you.

Carried on many streaming services right now. Prime Video, Tubi, etc.

Found the sequel: Screamers: The Hunting (2009). We'll see how it goes, sequels are often sad imitations of the original. Still, this is inspired by another Philip K. Dick story.

Found it at Tubi free w/ads.

This is the latest movie I watched it was entertaining based on a true story.

    The Ministry Of Ungentlemanly Warfare

    From the internet:
"The British military recruits a small group of highly skilled soldiers to strike against German forces behind enemy lines during World War II."

Ian Fleming according to the credits possibly base agent 007 on one of the character in this film.
