I have not ordered a CD in years (many years !) since I got my iPad, I started listening to music online form Pandora and Spotify , with the free accounts, plus we have Amazon Prime Music if we want to listen to that.
I like western music and Bobby like jazz and blues and stuff like that; so we never listen to music together.
We don’t even have anything in the house that plays a CD anymore. Bobby has an old boombox thing in the shop that he listens to, but I think that he just plays the radio out there, or he uses his phone or ipad and plays music from that.

We do not have anything that plays movie DVD’s either. We watch all the movies we see online, either with Netflix or Amazon Prime. Now, we have the Paramount+ that comes with Walmart+ account; but I am not sure whether Bobby watches it or not. I very seldom watch any movies at all anymore.

Our CD player will work if the lights go out if you have power, music is good for the soul and body.

Yes, that is good. Our iPads will work when the power is out, too. However when that happens, we are usually having tornado warnings, so we watch the weather news and do not listen to music.
I usually listen to music if I am sitting around knitting in the evenings.

I keep the usb lanterns charged up, so we can use those if the power is out. After being without power for almost 2 weeks when we had the bad tornadoes here a few years back; we make sure that everything is charged up when we have bad weather coming in.

At least we can play our Misic or even watch a movie' again', if we have to. Some kind of normalcy.

The last one we ordered was the DVD of the live performance by Nightwish at the virtual “Islander Arms” digital venue. We had tickets for both nights. Here’s one song from that concert. Uilleann Pipes are the odd instrument that the male vocalist is playing. Air is supplied to a bladder under the left arm from a bellows pumped using the right arm.

Same here; it's been at least 10 years since I've purchased a music CD though I have a cabinet full of them.

We have several movies on DVD, mostly purchased in the bargain bin to carry in the motorhome.

Tuomas, the keyboard player, is the founder of the band and composer/songwriter. He seldom tells a literal story, preferring instead to use words to create images. Here’s the lyrics if you’re interested.

I purchased two CDs the other day from the thrift store.
One was the music of Joe Wylie Trio sophistication.
The other was the music of Glee volume 6 season 2.
For 50 cents each I like trying music I wouldn't normally Buy just to hear how they sound.
In this case I struck out I didn't care for either CD, so I'll donate them back to the thrift store.
