If those darned road signs would just quit reminding me:

    "REDUCED SPEED AHEAD"

    "SLOW"

    "BUMPY ROAD"

    "UNEVEN SURFACE"

    "PROCEED WITH CAUTION"

    "SPEED BUMPS AHEAD"

    "DETOUR"

    and the worst one:

    "ROAD CLOSED"

I just can't make it much beyond 8:30 PM. I am not sleepy, just tired and then up and awake at 5AM.
Seems like most of the residents here are sacked out around the same time. I suspect that age and physical condition has something to do with it. Ten years ago my bedtime was 11 PM and up by 7:30 AM and I actually could sleep.

Sometime between 8 and 8:30. This week I've tried to stay up later due to the time change coming. I love getting up really early, but I don't want to get up at 2 am. Rarely do I sleep more than 6.5 - 7 hours, but I do take an afternoon nap.

I used to go to bed around 9 pm but that changed after Johnny had his first stroke. I would wake up some mornings and our front door would be wide open but he would be asleep in bed. So for safety I go to bed after he has turned in for the night which is later than 9 pm. I make up for the lost hours of sleep by getting 40 winks at my computer.

I go to bed only when I get sleepy. And if I procrastinate long enough, I usually get a second wind. So sometimes it is even later. :p

I go to bed when tired and sleepy, most often between 11:00 p.m. and 2:00 a.m.

Usually call it a night between 11 and 12, up at 5 - 5:30. Have always been an early riser, no matter what time i go to bed. Sometimes i can sneak in a afternoon nap.

I read until all hours sometimes, but I'll often doze between pages these days. I settle down between 9 and 10 pm, but don't usually fall into a sound sleep before midnite. I'm up between 5 and 6 am each day. I shower, dress, take the dog out and then settle down with coffee and the news until breakfast at 7. I'll often nap between 9 and 11 am if I am not out and about in the mornings. Then, I am really off and running.

I think part of the issue is not having any real sugar amount in my diet due to watching high blood sugar. After being up X amount of hours, I truly will nod off wherever I'm at. It always feels like such an old lady move. :D
