The most delicious croissants in our area are from Lidl Bakery it's buttery flaky light. I had one this morning with butter, my wife added apricot jam to hers. Cup of coffee to go with it and that's my breakfast.

A fresh cup of coffee and a piece of morning Fiber Cake for my breakfast today. It is flat out cold here, still, so I am now having a second cup of coffee this morning, and covering up with my lap blanket.

Italian bread toast with coffee, dunkin's my thing..
We make Italian bread toast out of day old Italian bread, sliced the long way, buttered then toasted in the oven. The butter melts deep into the bread it's a treat.

OK maybe this sounds gross to some. But on a low carb diet, this works. I got a pack of sushi nori sheets. I put smashed avocado, nutritional yeast flakes, diced onion, ginger and any other veggie that tickles my fancy and make it a burrito. Then I eat three Brazil nuts to activate the iodine in the sheets better.
I alternate with my home grown eggs which we are infested with because all of the girls decided that laying INDOORS is the thing to do, all of a sudden.

Yesterday it was fried potatoes for breakfast. Because I wanted to get rid of the potatoes. They were bothering me.

Bought a bag of those little baby reds, just because I never did before. Tried boiling, baking, microwave. They have almost no taste.

Fried in bacon grease? Yes! And they don't stick together when sliced. What wouldn't taste good fried in bacon grease. No more baby reds.
