Is that chilli con carne? I love it over chips.
Crockpot pork chops in mushroom gravy, rice, steamed green beans, baked sweet potatoes.
I don't know, it could be? It has hamburger and beans in it. I've always just called it chili. I have two versions of chili I make. The thicker version certainly can be eaten with chips of some kind. I like a little sharp cheddar cheese sprinkled on mine.
For the gravy or sauce part in my simmered beef and veggies, I use a little cold chicken broth (or beef broth) and mix with a little cornstarch or arrowroot; add to beef and veggies and stir until slightly thickened. Spoon over rice. When I make beef stew, I use Minute Tapioca for the thicker.
Beef rouladen, mashed taters/gravy, dinner roll, and a veggie to yet be determined.
Homemade chicken noodle soup.
We're at a hotel that's attached to a casino, but the casino has nothing to do with it. We ate at the hotel restaurant, and I had chili and we split an order of nachos, and it was way more than I should have had and I feel like I'm going to die now. It tasted very good, but I should never have done it. To top it all off, I forgot my grapeseed extract. I think I'm only going to eat celery for the next month or two.
Salmon, pickled beets, green beans, birch beer.
Chili with chopped onions and a sprinkle of cheese on top with a handful of Fritos.
Reminds me of the time when I was on a cruise, our cabin was on the same floor as the casino, spent more time in their than anywhere else on the ship (. ❛ ᴗ ❛.)
Is this from Subway? I love going there for a foot long cheese and red onion salad, I can eat the lot in one sitting (◔‿◔)
Not from Subway, but from Jersey Mike's, which (around here) has much better subs with fresh ingredients.
Toasted cheese-cheeseburger sandwich on homemade bread. I will have a dill pickle with mine, and the Mr. will have oven baked fries with his.
It's a cold and nasty day; misting rain and dreary. I'm making a hamburger casserole and homemade biscuits so we can huddle around the fireplace and TV.
