Philly cheesesteak from the deli, with a side of Advil for my splitting headache.

Leftover meatloaf, corn on the cob, summer squash with onions, green beans.

 

Charcoal grilled BBQ pork steaks, homemade potato salad, and oven baked beans.

 

Kielbasi, pirogi and corn. Cake for desert.

 

Beef quesadillas with peppers and onion, ranch beans, salad.

 

Giant 10" long natural cure grilled hot dog with condiments and jalapeno baked beans and espresso ice cream.

 

"Detroit Style" deep dish supreme pizza from Little Caesar's. They just opened a new place a couple of miles from here so we tried it; not bad but I'm wondering about that "Detroit" thing. Somehow when I consider pizza I don't often equate that with Detroit.

Let me Google that for you: "Detroit-style pizza layers the crust with cheese and toppings below the sauce. Traditionally, Detroit-style pizza uses Wisconsin brick cheese, a mildly flavored semi-soft cheese with a high fat content, as opposed to the usual mozzarella." Mystery solved.
