I have been very busy all day and just warmed a can of chili and beans. Had so many problems with getting my bluetooth to hookup. I had a 64gig USB stick that I had just bought two months ago to save some of my stuff and it went belly up and is now no good. I won't buy any more of that brand again. I lost a ton of things but I can still retrieve them it just takes a long time. This has been a bad day since I woke up.
I'm sure that was what happened, it was almost full but still showed enough room to place a few things. It was working earlier but at times it has balked when I would plug it in. I was actually trying to get my other headset working on blue tooth but was never able to get it to work. I have another with a later USB stick or server and it works fine. I got things really messed up and finally had to restore back one day because my lit keyboard went all wonky on me the same time I was fooling with the bluetooth. I finally go things straight again and now it is time to just move all that extra stuff that takes up so much space to an external hard drive. I think it is cheaper to just buy the hard drives because that usb that I had to toss this evening cost me over 20 dollars, I could have bought a hard drive for a few bucks more and had a ton of storage.
Yeh, USB hard drives are cheap enough. I can't recall if file recovery software will work if the FAT Table is corrupted (since all it does is replace the entry)...or if the files can be copied to a different device, since they are technically intact.
I downloaded a program that was supposed to do that but it did not do the job so I deleted it or uninstalled it, it was a cruz disc by name and it did not last long but I only wanted storage not and not use it for like installing a system, I have a nice little 18 gig usb that has win 10 on it for install on a new system. I have every flavor of win 10 but it is now getting old and the first thing you must do after installing win 10 is go to the group policy settings and change the registry to turn off win 10 updates forced win 11 install. You have to enter two new keys and name them then set the switches. Works good for me so I don't have to worry about them dropping win 11 on my system without asking. I have read about and seen the new system and it just plain sucks, it goes against everything we've all learned over the past 30 years when it comes to using a computer. If they would just leave well enough alone an stop adding crap that is totally useless. For 20 years they forced everyone to update their systems by locking down the ram amount the system could read or write to, that is all over now so there is not real reason anyone should ever need a new system from microsoft or anyone else.
Fried chicken, our garden green beans with carrots, zucchini from the garden with onions and potatoes
We have eaten fast food all week account helping with a local VBS. We slept most of yesterday recovering and recharging. Today grilled swordfish and a orange and strawberry salad
I haven't decided yet, but it will be something cool and refreshing straight from the refrigerator. For my 8 AM brunch, I am enjoying a bowl of orange ice cream and graham crackers to cool me off, after my morning walk.
Surprise, surprise! I fixed tuna rigatoni mushroom soup parmesan casserole. It was very good and easy to eat. The hard part was forcing myself to actually cook using the oven. Sometimes I amaze myself.
