    Dinner tonight was Cobb Salad, Turkey and mashed potatoes, some veges
    and it all tasted very pleasing ...:)

    trying to talk myself into having a small glass of eggnog..

    The past couple of nights it's been leftovers from Thanksgiving dinner and from meals delivered by my neighbors (turkey last night, roast beef tonight.) No one made a green bean casserole, so I made one last night to have with my leftover buffets.

    Side of Stouffer's Spinach Souffle, they have been selling this disk for 60 yrs they say and claim no preservatives, some sodium but not High Sodium. It's ready to come out of oven... I prefer cooked spinach to raw spinach.

    I recently read an article that discussed those veggies whose nutrients are more available when the veggie is cooked rather than eaten raw. Spinach is one of those. Calcium, iron, and beta carotene are better absorbed when spinach is cooked.

    I was not feeling great, so had a bit of leftover from breakfast- sausage gravy, toast and fried potatoes - I enjoyed every deadly mouthful ;)

    Eating healthy again today (after enjoying the Thanksgiving indulgences) and we had lentil soup with lots of veggies and cornbread muffins.
    However….. I do have to confess….. I was just not able to pass up having my quart of eggnog for this holiday season (it only happens once a year, so that makes it okay, right ? )
    I like just a little eggnog in my hot coffee or tea, so one container will make it from Thanksgiving to New Years.

    The crafty forum I’m on has just changed weekly menu planning to what’s for “tea ,

    as lots of Aussies call the evening meal so I took a photo of our evening meal last night to add to crafty forum …

    This is what we had ….i always use a corelle entree size plate for my meals

    We rarely have oven cooked chips but I had some in freezer to use ……waste not want not in this house ..

    Tonite we are having pan fried crispy skin barrmundi (Fish) with salad and maybe a smashed / oven browned crispy potato.
