Due to my glucose numbers , I am relegated to "meat and salad" for a while. I'm making ground beef patties (plain), salad, and I'll roast some small potatoes for the better half.

Making baby Lima beans with some of Bobby’s sausage for flavor, lots of veggies for added flavor and fiber. It is an easy-peasy dinner tonight.

We went to the big city today for a fun outing. Thankfully, we had lovely weather. After our wee shopping spree, we treated ourselves to Fish and Chips for lunch.

Dinner was Chinese Eggdrop Soup homemade.

By the way, the very inexpensive purchases were a bonus plus daughter got me to try a new coffee shop she'd visited during a school's field trip. OMG that Mocha Latte was amazing and simply divine. Then we got on the wrong train, got to exit two stops early, went to local supermarket and managed to get regular groceries.

So a mistake which turned out advantageous. Relaxing watching TV series with a lovely cuppa tea. Goodnight friends...

Mexican take-out. We had beef and chicken fajitas (mine without tortillas, chips or beans and rice. :() So I got out a bag of chicharrones (no carbs) and used them with the queso. Actually not bad, but how can you go wrong with queso??? Also had guacamole and pico de gaillo.

Everyone can relax... Corona Light Beer has only 4.8 grams of carbs!! :D

I bought some store brand low carb tortillas. Yesterday I had a scrambled egg with a slice of cheese on one and it was pretty good. I am trying to stay away from any kind of bread but I'm going to have to "wean." :(

A slice of bread for me is too labor intensive, but now and then I have one. I do eat alot of berry's /.
