It's my day off so the BH will probably pick up Chick-fil-a or something.

Leftover pork loin w/bourbon sauce and scalloped potatoes (I almost burned the house down last night.)
    And a salad.
    And asparagus.

Last night, we had organic beef patties topped with a salty cheese, and freshly-steamed asparagus topped with a homemade organic mayonnaise. Yummy!

Next time, I think I'll try to make aioli, which is a lemony-garlic-y mayonnaise. Or maybe not. :)

I've never made mayo, or aioli. I use Ethiopian Clarified Butter on most of my green veggies, as well as on corn-on-the-cob. Here's the recipe.

Today's my husband's birthday so he will choose what's for dinner. Probably seafood or a steak restaurant.

I had a steak & cheese for lunch, so dinner will likely be a salad, Minestrone soup, and Italian bread.

I was on my own for supper, so I just had a couple of Brautwurst and corn.

My older brother always had a German Chocolate Cake for his birthday. I've made them a few times for friends. They are very good...and pretty labor intensive.

My mom made one from scratch and I feel in love with. I have it on my birthday too. Sometimes I'll make it from scratch but I haven't in a while.
