Man, I love me some liver & onions.

I had a big greasy lunch, so dinner is a salad with hard boiled egg and some hot bread.

Today is "Fend for Yourself Sunday", so the better half is having a tuna salad sandwich on a croissant with chips. I dug out a package of Stauffer's SOS (creamed chipped beef) from the freezer to have on toast. I need to buy more of that; it's good stuff.

We'll have a Czech bakery fruit kolache for dessert with our coffee later.

I went to a church homecoming today (a trio affiliated with The Carter Family Fold played for us.) Of course, there was tons of food. Way too much food. So I'll just have a salad tonight.

Goodness. It is FFYS here too. Hubby is having a small salmon fillet. I made a hamburger dish out of whatever was laying around, onion, garlic, ginger, peanut butter and lots of coriander.

The lentils, rice, and chickpeas dinner that I made last week was so good that I decided to make it again. The Za’atar spice and my new container of tahini arrived from Amazon today, plus I got some fresh cucumbers from Sam’s Club yesterday, so this time, I had all of the proper ingredients for making it, and it added to the flavor.
This is such an easy meal to make, and so healthy, too, so it is going to be something that I will probably make again.

Today it was gourmet fare... chili dogs with onion, cheese, and mustard. Frozen crinkle cut fries and bagged cole slaw on the side.
