I grilled a steak the other evening and had leftovers. I cut it up, mixed it with sauteed shrooms, put a fried egg on top, served with salad, asparagus & baked potato.
We very rarely eat sausages but that’s what we had last night pork sausages with onion gravy ( I made) had mashed potato / steamed pumpkin and Brussels sprouts it was rather tasty even if I say so …I only eat one sausage. Used my brain again last nite ….and cooked extra veggies so guess what’s on the menu tonite ..yep bubble a squeak on toast with a crispy bottom fried egg on top They are rather nice tasting pork sausages from Aldi
We went to a local seafood restaurant; I had fried shrimp and oysters, salad and fries. He had a cup of gumbo, fried shrimp, salad and fries. We packed up a ton of leftovers in a to-go box but couldn't resist a detour through the Dairy Queen drive-thru for a soft-serve cone. Very nice evening.
I am so hungry for dinner, SO off I go to eat Fish Tacos, garden salad and for dessert a tiny glass of Baileys

I made a batch of spaghetti sauce last night, so tonight it's leftovers with a salad. The rest went in the freezer.
-Salad -Grilled steak -Steamed asparagus -Loaded baked potato -Corn on the cob I cleaned out my fridge earlier and tossed the daggone mushrooms.
Made slow cooker ….chunky lamb shanks on a bed of mash last night , bought the shanks in a pack of 4 in Costco they are very nice and meaty ….and very economical meal ..cost was $22.00 for the 4 pack ( enough for 2 meals each ) If you had a lamb shank meal in a pub you’d be paying $45 .00 per meal Lotsa gravy on DH meal …he likes to have lots over his potato bed ….oops photo to big brb Yep,it’s still rather cool here so still having nice warming meals
